Unexpected Places to Get Tattoos
Unexpected Places to Get Tattoos
It has been said that one can get tattoos nearly anywhere on his or her body, and this is not an understatement. Tattoos can be applied to any part of the body, and many people will go the distance. The following are three unexpected (and most likely, unpleasant) places to get tattoos:
1. Inner lip: This tattoo site is for the individual who wants a tattoo, but doesn?t want it to be visible. The inner lip tattoo must be properly maintained and cared for, as it can easily lose its color due to excessive moisture in the mouth. In order to best preserve your inner lip tattoo, you should keep your inner lip dry during the complete healing process or for the first five days.
2. Bottom of Foot: This may seem as strange of a place as the inner lip, but a tattoo on the bottom of your foot is versatile and quirky. First, this is a tattoo which is pretty much hidden until you want to purposefully show it off. Additionally, you can think up some really humorous designs, such as a smashed bug.
3. Eyeball: Not only is this one of the oddest places to get a tattoo, but it is also one of the most painful! There are many nerve endings in the front of your eye, and many people tend to get anesthesia when having their eyeball inked. Additionally, it is very difficult to get colors to show up on an eyeball tat because of the constant moisture. This may be the one place where tattoos just aren?t meant to be.
