Couples having matching tattoos or individual tattoos to express their love for each other are very common among celebrities. Some of these couples’ relationship did not last while some are still blissfully together. But the reason for having matching tattoos or personal symbols of love for a partner where done when the relationship was still “hot” and as an expression of undying love for each other. David and Victoria Beckham
David and Victoria have been married since 1999 and still very much together up to the present. They are blessed with three sons. David has the name of Victoria with an H (Vihctoria) in Hindi tattooed on his left forearm. Another tattoo in Latin “Ut Amem Et Foveam” translated in English “so that I love and cherish” was added later. Posh Spice ( Victoria’s pseudonym) has “DB”, David’s initials tattooed under her left wrist. Victoria also has a 4 eight point stars to stand for her two sons, her husband and herself, done before the arrival of her 3rd son.

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey
Nick and Mariah were married in 2008 after a very short two months after their first meeting and are still together up to the present time. A few weeks after they first met, they had tattoos done together, “Mariah” tattooed on Nick’s upper back and a small butterfly with “Mrs.Cannon” on Mariah.

Jordan Bratman and Christina Aguilera
Jordan and Christina were married November 19 2005 and as far as we know are still together until now. Christina wears the initial of her husband, B in Hebrew and “Te Amo siempre” translated in English, “I love you forever”

Russel Brand and Katy Perry
Katy Perry married Russel Brand in October of 2010 but rumors are rife that the marriage is on the rocks and divorce is in the air. They both have a Sanskrit tattoo on their right arm that says “Anuugacchati Pravaha” meaning “ go with the flow”
